As you know, BookCon is a huge thing for us booklovers. It’s like Coachella, for us. So, I thought that I would break down some information about BookCon in case you were considering buying a ticket and attending. If you don’t know what BookCon is, it’s basically like ComicCon or VidCon, but for books. It’s amazing.
In the past, BookCon has invited popular YouTubers such as Joey Graceffa and Connor Franta promoting their books, as well as celebrities such as Mindy Kaling and Khloe Kardashian with their books as well. John Green and Nat Wolff had a panel together in 2015, and they discussed the Paper Towns movie. BookCon includes Q&A with authors, panels and book-signings. Some well-known authors that usually attend BookCon is Alexandra Bracken, Cassandra Clare, Rick Riordan, John Green, Marissa Meyers, Richelle Mead, Sarah J. Maas etc …
This year, BookCon is going to be held in McKormick Place, Chicago Illinois on May 14th. Children age 6 – 12 require a child’s ticket, while kids age 5 and below are allowed in free. 13 and above requires an adult ticket.
